The family you helped by donating household and kitchen items is doing well! The husband has found work as a driver for a car sales company, though unfortunately, this means he spends long periods of time on the road and away from his family. The wife has been trying to contribute financially by baking savory pies, and I’m helping her spread the word and find clients. She’s also about to start practicing English regularly with a friend of mine.
Their daughter is doing okay in school, but like the rest of the family, she is facing challenges with learning English. Despite this, they remain optimistic. They are deeply grateful for all the donations, which allowed them to put their income toward rent, utilities, and car expenses. The donations have helped them create a welcoming home—a place where they can rest and heal. Without your help, they would likely still be sleeping on the floor and living in a state of continued trauma, feeling as though they were in a shelter.
